The New 2003 Catnip is up and growing!!
Here is a picture of one of the plants that weathered over from last year. It is strong and healthy isn't it?
This year we have decided to raise all the Catnip in containers. The weather on this part of Whidbey Island is completly different than just a few miles away. It is warmer and drier with a lot more wind. Catnip doesn't particularly like the wind as it stunts the herbs growth and dries it out too fast.
Here is a picture of the first Catnip plant that will be ready to harvest in about another month.
